Preferred Nigerian actor and motion picture director, Kunle Afolayan, on Wednesday explained that he was functioning on a television collection set to be released in 2019.
Afolayan explained in Lagos that the tv sequence would be an epic Yoruba drama capturing 16th century custom of the ethnic group.
“I have very a quantity of initiatives that I am doing the job on, but I never want to expose also much,” he reported.
The actor, even so, reported he was excited about the impending series that would aim on Yoruba deities and kings.
The completed actor lately received an award for his “ October 1’’ movie that dominated the honours roll.
Afolayan’s movie bagged the Greatest Nigerian Film and Winner for Achievement In Costume Structure at the 11th version of the Africa Motion picture Academy Awards (AMAA).
He mentioned his fans must search forward to the tv series “ simply because it will be value the wait.’’
The director claimed the Yoruba drama “ will not only clearly show us the way we the moment worked, performed and prayed, it will also consider us back to our origin.’’
